Anime adaptations of games are nothing new nor is it new that they’re getting them ahead of the release of said game. Capcom has announced that their upcoming game release on the Nintendo 3DS of Monster Hunter Stories will be receiving an anime adaptation next year. It’s set to be broadcast in Fuji TV sometime in 2016 with all details to come in the future. With the scale of the Monster Hunter franchise, it really is surprising it took this long to get here and someone must have seen the Youkai Watch money sitting on the table and wanted soem of that.
There’s not a lot of material on the game itself overall just yet either, but you can get a feel for it and the kind of tone that they’ll be working on with the game promo below.
