Dynamite Entertainment Showcases July 30th, 2014 Releases

Dynamite Entertainment Showcases July 30th, 2014 Releases The last release week of the month is a pretty light one when it comes to the folks at Dynamite Entertainment, but they have some interesting and accessible items. The only ongoing here is the latest installment of Doc Savage, which is still being developed as a feature film out there in Hollywood. On the more accessible side, there’s a new one-shot for The Shadow that lets Ron Marz play in that playground again while Gail Simone gets to tackle a little more Red Sonja with another of the issue zero releases they’ve got coming out.

The fog-shrouded town of Innsmouth holds deep secrets. There are legends of inhuman creatures raised from the depths, of supernatural rites and elder gods from beyond. When Lamont Cranston and Margo Lane find themselves trapped in Innsmouth, terrible truths will surface … truths only the Shadow can know. Writer Ron Marz and artist Matthew Dow Smith tell a Shadow story like no other, placing the pulp avenger in H.P. Lovecraft’s famous setting for a truly inspired one-shot that could only be called “The Shadow Over Innsmouth.”
