With the first series having been simulcast and now streaming the movie that bridges the two seasons, Viz Media has announced that K: Return of Kings is now available via Neon Alley, powered by Hulu. The first episode has gone live, which you can see below. Those that subscribe to Hulu can watch this show in HD on their TV, mobile and computer.
The original series received a rebroadcast this summer in Japan that began on July 3rd with new episodes every Friday until the new series premieres.
The new season is set to be directed by Shingo Suzuki, who will also serve as the character designer, and GoHands will produce the animation. Suzuki isn’t unfamiliar with the property, having directed the first season and the film. The property had new material coming out at the end of December 2014 with the sequel manga from Yui Kuroe, that picks up after the film, but how connected that will be to the larger anime universe remains to be seen.
Viz Media has released the TV series on DVD/BD in North America after providing it with an English language dub.
