‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Takes Over ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Takes Over ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Pretty much sourced so far as being fan made, but utterly spot on in a lot of ways, there’s a new 41 second mashup of Guardians of the Galaxy that takes over the trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron. While it could be seen as fun marketing ahead of the home video release of the Guardians of the Galaxy film, which is what we reference below, it actually makes more of a play for the second film. Still, who wouldn’t want to watch Age of Rocket  & Groot?

Directed by James Gunn, the feature brings together Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Dave Batista, Vin Diesel, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close and Gregg Henry.

Plot concept: Brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits — Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand — with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
