While cats rule Japan and the Internet, dogs make out pretty well overall to and now they’re getting a bit of extra love in September with an anime adaptation of Sayuri Tatsuyama’s Aru Hi Inu no Kuni kara Tegami ga Kite. The series translates as One Day A Letter Arrives from the Dog Kingdom and the plan for the adaptation is to be done as part of a bundled DVD with the September issue of Ciao magazine when it arrives on September 3rd, 2015. No details about who is handling the adaptation are available yet.
Tatsuyama’s manga is one that adapts and builds upon the novel from 2009 of the same name that was written by Maruko Tanaka and Yuko Matsui. The manga began back in 2012 and has six volumes available now.
