The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
Himegoto set up the concept easily enough with our girlish looking Hime getting caught up in the machinations of a trio of troublesome student council members that see an easy target. With Hime now dragged into the council, we see a bit more of his home life, such as his younger sister Kaguya that’s all over him. She’s just pleased to see him in general, but she takes it so much further because she’s actually his brother that is really into crossdressing and that leads to some hilarious grinding between the two that is totally awkward. Hime’s time at school isn’t much better as guys there grope and fondle him trying to understand that he’s really a he, but he’s often saved by the student council members since they’re the only ones that can abuse him. And they’re not interested in guys who dress like guys, so it’s even easier to create a wall between Hime and others.

In Summary:
Getting a better look at how Hime’s life is going to work, both at home and at school, this episode puts enough tings into motion that you get the gist of the humor it wants to use and the main cast that’s going to torment him pretty much from every angle. We still don’t have a lot to work with when it comes to most of them, but I’ll admit that the situations are amusing enough and they really do pace the four minute run time very well, something a lot of shows just can’t do without being overly frenetic and hyperactive. That’s definitely in the show, but it’s more managed.
