‘Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!’ Gets Second Anime Promo

‘Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!’ Gets Second Anime Promo The anime adaptation of the light novel series Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! has an additional bit of marketing and promotion out for it today. The Japanese site and feeds have updated to reveal a new promotional video for the show that clocks in at two minutes, though it’s not a full two minutes of actual animation. But it does reaffirm the look of the show pretty well and makes it clear what it wants to be.

The winter 2016 scheduled show now has a firm premiere date of January 14th, 2016 and that comes alongside the release of the first full key visual for the show that you can see to the right.

The previously announced cast includes:

Jun Fukushima as Kazuma Satou
Sora Amamiya as Aqua
Rie Takahashi as Megumin
Ai Kayano as Raratina Dustiness Ford
Sayuri Hara as Luna
Tetsu Inada as Ruffian
Ayaka Suwa as Chris
Takuya Eguchi as Kyouya Mitsurugi
Hiroki Yasumoto as Beldia Dullahan
Yui Horie as Wiz

The series is set to be animated at Studio DEEN with Takaomi Kansaki directing based on scripts by Makoto Uezeu and character designs by Kouichi Kikuta.

The series translates as Gifting the Wonderful World with Blessings! and comes from writer Akatsuki Natsume with illustrations by Mishima Kurone. The book began in the fall of 2013 and has seven volumes released so far. It also got the expected manga adaptation along the way with Masahito Watari illustrating that starting back in September 2014, which was one of the clues that this was likely going to get an anime adaptation.

Plot concept: Kazuma Satou is a shut-in who loves game, his life ended suddenly… Appearing before him is a beautiful girl claiming to be a goddess. Kazuma, who was transported to a different world, worked hard to earn a living! Kazuma wanted to live a stable life, but was burdened with problems caused by the goddess he brought along to the different world with him. He was even targeted by the demon king’s army?!
